To reach the house by public transport, travel from Norwich to Sheringham by bus or train (The Bittern Line).
The Wave is a two storey property over looking the north sea with access to the beach in either direction along the promenade, situated directly on the Norfolk Coast Path.
The closest supermarket is Tesco, there is also a small Sainsburys a short walk away. Sheringham has a range of other shops selling fresh local produce including bakeries, seafood, a green grocer and health stores. There’s also a wide variety of ice cream shops, cafe’s, pubs, restaurants and take-away’s, Other amenities include a doctors surgery with dispensary, two chemists, a hardware store, toy shop, petrol station, launderette and an indoor pool and leisure centre – The Reef.

Places to go
- The beach!
- Walk along the Norfolk Coast Path just turn left to head towards Weybourne or take a right to Cromer and beyond.
- National trust locations, there are a few National trust parks in Norfolk, including Felbrigg, Blickling and also Sheringham Park which is close enough to walk to.
- The steam train (The Poppy Line) goes to Holt via Weybourne.
- For children and adults alike… Amazonia zoo or BeWilderWood.
- Play parks – There are a few around Sheringham, the closest is just off the promenade.
- Check out what’s on at Cromer Pier or a book one of the spectacular shows at Thursford.
- Venturing further afield try The Broads or the vast expanse of Holkham Beach.

- There’s an abundance of cafe’s to choose from, our favourite is The Whelk Coppers Tea rooms, which is located within yards of The Wave.
- For seafood, take the Coasthopper bus (or make a day of it and walk) to Rocky Bottoms.
- For fish & chips try The Sheringham Trawler or Stevensons
- There are plenty of takeaways and eateries around Sheringham, a few favourites are The Bank, Fat Ted’s, Stubbys pizza.
- Number 10 restaurant serves exquisite meals, it’s adviasble to pre-book.
- Further afield there are a great selection of pubs including The Fox, The Red Hart, The Hunworth Bell , Wiveton Bell and The Carpenters Arms, The Gunton Arms and The Vernon Arms.
